What is there after Christmas? I mean, really... all we can think of around here is spring. We found the local farm we are going to co-op with for our summer produce. This one even has eggs and grass fed meats available. Can you imagine what that is going to taste like!? I started a few herbs for a window/ patio box. I may not be awesome with house plants, but I would do anything for fresh rosemary and chives all summer long. Then, just as we are digging out the warmer weather clothes handed down to us for the little man, we get hit with a very northern-like snow storm.
Seriously.???
I few more weeks of cold are not going to be the end of the world. Miserable, and cold, yes. We will make it through. One last batch of chili, one more movie night with hot chocolate. In the back of my mind, I can already hear the ice cubes clinking together in my lemonade.
